Be aggresive (be, be agressive)

Day two of being a city wanker (sorry banker).

So accustomed am I to riding the tubes these days (all of two days) that today I found myself standing on the district line earplugs in, reading a magazine AND eating a banana (note to self: it's best not to make eye contact with fellow commuters whislt eating said banana). I arrive at the offices in good time, and am sat at my desk (MY DESK!) ready to immerse myself in the world of celebrity once more.

Just like the girls of Bring it On, and after many a self-affirmation, I force myself to be aggressive (be, be agressive) first thing. I Carpe diem, if you don't ask you don't get, right? Perhaps this leads to me peaking too soon as I've reached the highest point of my career so far before 10.30am. My first ever attempt of networking -- I go round desk to desk, features to pictures to editorial, offering my services (not my body) and tea and coffee. The journalists want neither -- something which, frankly, I'm astounded at. My career high comes whenI shake hands with the editor (cue imaginary fist pumping of the air). Unfortunaley this results in an hot flush; which leads to the rrealisation that I eveidently forgot to put deodrant on this morning; which subsequently results in a good 10 minutes of my lunch spent in Boots subtly spraying myself with Lynx Africa (not my first, second or third choice, thank you very much) whislt Sandra from the pharmacy death-stared me. Highs and lows, highs and lows.

I'm then assigned the task of transcribing interviews (actually fun!) which, actually, turns out to be just the one 15 minute interview that takes me 2 hours to transcribe. FGS *WAILING EMOJI* I can actually feel the strain in my fingers from all that aggressive typing (behave).

So, I'm not sure how today went. I still need to be WAY more assertive and confident, maybe try and pitch a new idea or tea. FFS NOTICE ME.
