Miss A N Other

Day 2 and let me go off on a tangent immediately and tell you that I'm finally starting to see length and health in my hair – I'm not saying I'm rapunzel and neither am I claiming to have been asked to model for Herbal Essences – finally, after months of resisting heat, back combing and fore fitting my trademark topknot I am finally starting to see the difference!

Anyway, today begins with sleek straight hair (volume is so 2014) the pleather skirt teamed with an oversized high neck blouse teamed with my camel coat -- you'd be forgiven for mistaking me for Miss A N Other city wanker (sorry, banker). The commute gives me a chance to gather my thoughts, practice a little self-affirmation (if I don't believe in myself why should any one else, huh?) and breath in the industrial beauty of the city's docklands.

I breeze into the office and approach the News Ed without hesitation to query him on where best to source images from. He's super friendly and helpful and he uses my name (HE REMEMBERS MY NAME, BITCHES). No longer will I sit on my desk sweating profusely! Stuck to the chair by apprehension (and sweat, obvs) – if you want something you gotta go and get it!

They say opportunity dances with those already on the dance floor and today, and you could sya that today opportunity salsa-d it's way into my lap. I'm asked to brainstorm feature ideas and boy do I come up with a corker! #BODYFAME – boycotting body shaming by celebrating celebs with hot AND healthy bods – move over Ed, Ellie J's in charge now.

Lunch is Pret, obvs, follow by a pit stop in Tescos for sweets – they'll remember the girl who bought sweets in everyday and caused their Type 2 Diabetes (lol, joke).

I spend the afternoon writing up the contents for the mag and even manage to make it to London Bridge in time to catch the sunset.
